Chef / Stew — Private Sailing Yacht | Mediterranean Seasonal Contract | Start: ASAP | Until end of October |Start in Spain The Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef/Stew to join a small, tight-knit crew of three for a private sailing programme this summer. This is a purely culinary and stewarding position — the right candidate will have zero interest in sailing duties, deck work, or watches. Your domain is the galley and the interior. The owners are a relaxed, unpretentious German couple who love good, wholesome food. Think hearty, nourishing meals — generous bowls of pasta underway, fresh wraps, the occasional plated dinner — mostly family style, always with heart. A homemade cake or batch of cookies a couple of times a week will go down very well. Culinary training is a bonus, not a requirement; genuine passion and real skill in the galley absolutely are. Responsibilities • Provisioning, planning, and preparing all meals for guests and crew • Cooking confidently underway in a seaway • Light interior duties: cabin turnovers (no turn-downs), heads, and general tidiness • Washing up, with crew support where available • Joining owners at the table from time to time — warmth and maturity at mealtimes matter
