Sole Engineer

We are seeking a temporary Sole Engineer for a private 34m yacht with a great crew. The position is for a 3-month contract, starting at the beginning of October. This role is based in Vilanova, Spain, where the yacht will undergo a significant 10-year survey and a full paint job. Additionally, there is a potential for a boss trip in October. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering and maintenance work during the shipyard period. This includes managing contractors, coordinating the completion of the worklist, and ensuring that all engineering tasks are completed efficiently. While the primary focus will be on engineering, the role also requires familiarity with deck operations, as assistance with tender trips may be needed during the boss trip. Candidates should hold a minimum Y4 license and have prior experience working in a shipyard environment. Familiarity with deck operations is also necessary to effectively support all aspects of the yacht's operations.
