Description
Chief Engineer position available for a 50m Dutch sail yacht with a 10/10 weeks rota. Offering 6-7k per month, the role requires a high level of electrical and IT/network knowledge. Proficiency in hydraulic systems critical. Seasoned sailor preferred for sailing and deliveries. Must be outgoing with a sense of humor. American owner, British Captains, and travel to UK, Ireland, Med, Caribbean, and Pacific. Covid vaccination and maritime certs required.
Requirements
• Licence Y4 preferred • Must have a high level of electrical and IT/network knowledge and experience essential • Hydraulic system critical on a sailing yacht this size - candidate should be proficient • Seasoned sailor - this programme sails a lot and on deliveries • Must be Covid vaccinated and an up-to-date ENG along with all other maritime certs
