Description

Join an 80m private (light charter) motor yacht as Head Chef for the upcoming Caribbean season. This well-run, professionally crewed vessel is seeking a creative, organised and calm-in-the-galley chef to lead the culinary program onboard. The yacht maintains a high standard of cuisine for both owners and charter guests, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients and varied international menus. The role includes provisioning throughout the Caribbean islands, managing the galley operation, maintaining food safety standards and working closely with the interior team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The vessel runs a dual-season itinerary. Winters in the Caribbean and summers in the Mediterranean with occasional off-the-beaten-path destinations. A structured rotation and competitive package are offered.

Requirements

- STCW (fully updated) - ENG1 (valid and unrestricted) - Proven experience as Head Chef on yachts 60m+ or Sole/Head Chef on smaller vessels with strong charter background - Strong provisioning knowledge across Caribbean ports - Ability to deliver high-end guest cuisine across multiple styles (Mediterranean, Asian, plant-forward, dietary needs) - Excellent organisation, cleanliness, and calm under pressure - Strong communication and teamwork skills
