Description
The job listing is for a temporary Wiper/Oiler position on a 90m private motor yacht. The yacht will be dockside with no guests during the contract period from February 8 to March 8, 2025. The job duties include maintaining the engine room and technical spaces, performing oil changes, wiping down surfaces, and assisting the engineering team with maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience working on larger yachts, hold a small engineering license, and have STCW and Advanced Firefighting certifications. A USCG medical certificate, passport, and TWIC card are also required. The salary will be in line with yachting industry guidelines and includes economy flights to and from the vessel. Background check and drug testing may apply.
Requirements
• Prefer a small Engineering license and previous experience as a wiper/motorman • STCW + Refresher • Adv. Firefighting + • USCG marine medical or ENG1 (valid for 6 months) • Passport (valid min. 1 year) • B1/B2 visa or US passport / green card • TWIC is a plus
