Deckhand

We are seeking a Deckhand with at least one season's experience to join a well-known charter motor yacht based in Marina Port Fòrum, Barcelona. This winter position runs from 1 October 2025 to 30 April 2026 and includes approximately two months in shipyard. There is a strong possibility for the successful candidate to extend on a permanent contract after the winter. The role involves general deck maintenance and assistance in the engine room. Support during shipyard works is required, with paintwork, varnishing and carpentry experience considered a plus. Candidates should have a minimum of two seasons' experience as a deckhand on a motor yacht over 30m long, practical skills in carpentry and painting, and a dynamic personality with strong self-discipline. We are looking for someone aiming to build a long-term career in yachting rather than just a seasonal role. A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to work well within a team are essential. This seasonal contract offers the chance to gain valuable yard and maintenance experience within a professional and supportive crew environment.
