Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp OOW for a 60m+ yacht. We are currently seeking a highly skilled 2nd Officer to join a 60m+ private motor yacht for an exciting transatlantic crossing from Genoa, Italy to the Caribbean. This is a temporary position, starting around 14 November and lasting for approximately 1 month. The responsibilities include assisting the Chief Officer in navigation, passage planning, and safety drills during the crossing, standing bridge watch duties, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, overseeing and assisting deck crew with general duties, and participating in vessel safety checks, security drills, and emergency procedures.

• Assist the Chief Officer in navigation, passage planning, and safety drills during the crossing. • Stand bridge watch duties in accordance with STCW regulations, maintaining a vigilant lookout and adhering to all safety protocols. • Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations throughout the voyage. • Oversee and assist deck crew with general duties, including maintenance and deck operations. • Participate in vessel safety checks, security drills, and emergency procedures.
