Description

A fantastic opportunity for a passionate, team-focused female Sous Chef to join an outstanding 73m private/charter yacht, working under two exceptional rotational Head Chefs. The vessel boasts a tight-knit galley team with a calm, happy atmosphere, and places a strong focus on professional development and hands-on training. The right candidate will be professionally trained with 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or yacht galley (not necessarily yachting specific). A Ships Cook Certificate is preferred but not essential for the right applicant. Above all, we're seeking someone with great energy, strong team spirit, and a genuine passion for learning, development, and maintaining high standards of galley etiquette. You will be joining a galley environment that is truly collaborative, where the Head Chefs are highly supportive, passionate about upskilling their team, and keen to pass on responsibility as you prove yourself. No lone wolves or ego-driven chefs here — it’s a hands-on, hardworking, and uplifting team who enjoy running a galley together at the highest standard.

Requirements

• Professionally trained Chef • Ships Cook Certificate preferred (not essential) • 1–2 years of relevant kitchen or galley experience, ideally on vessels 60m+ • Strong kitchen etiquette and team-first attitude • Pastry skills • Enthusiastic, keen to learn, and passionate about developing your skills • Female candidate required due to cabin arrangements • Excellent checkable references
