Chief Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our crew onboard a beautifully maintained (2020, Dutch built) private motor yacht. Key Responsibilities: - Overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems onboard, ensuring optimal performance and safety. - Implement and manage a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records. - Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting - Maintain engine room cleanliness, safety procedures, and up-to-date logs. - Proactive, organised, and safety-conscious - Able to work independently as sole engineer and assist other departments when needed. - Prior yachting experience - Minimum Y4 (or equivalent), or strong proven yachting experience. - Knowledge of PMS, fault diagnosis, and record keeping.
