Description
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp 2nd Engineer for a 50m yacht. The job involves overseeing and maintaining the vessel's technical systems during an Atlantic crossing, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting of onboard equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, assisting with any emergency repairs as needed, and monitoring and recording technical data for future reference.
Requirements
• Valid Y4 Engineering certification • Proven experience working on yachts of similar size and complexity • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude • Availability for the full duration of the Atlantic crossing
