Chief Stew

We are seeking a polished and experienced Chief Stewardess to join a highly professional 60m private motor yacht, owned by an established American family with significant yachting experience and a private island. This is a program of exceptionally high standards, where discretion, organisation, and professionalism are paramount. The role requires a capable leader with proven experience managing a large interior team, delivering flawless service, and working seamlessly alongside a tight-knit crew and external security staff. You’ll be stepping into a vessel that runs with a strong safety and security culture, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain structure, anticipate guest needs, and coordinate seamlessly with all departments. The owners are well-travelled, detail-oriented, and expect polished but personable service. This is not a high-drama program but one that operates at the very top end of private yachting. The Chief Stewardess will be expected to lead by example, inspire confidence and calm in her team, and maintain consistently high standards of service and presentation across all guest areas.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Chief Stewardess or strong 2nd Officer stepping up with proven leadership on 60m+ • Experience on busy private or private/charter programs with UHNW owners • Proven track record managing and training an interior team • Confident in high-level service, silver service, wine knowledge, and event preparation • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including provisioning and interior accounts • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with security and multi-disciplinary teams • US passport/Green Card or B1/B2 visa • Valid STCW, ENG1, Food Safety Level 2 • Must be willing to undergo full background checks and drug testing • Fluent English, polished presentation, and excellent references
