Chief Stew

The position is for a Rotational Chief Stewardess on a 35-meter motor yacht that is used for both private and charter purposes. The yacht is based in the Bahamas, and the itinerary includes the Bahamas and the US for yard work. The role requires a STCW certification, a current medical certificate, food safety and hygiene training, and security awareness. The candidate should have a happy and outgoing disposition, be well-spoken and presented, and have experience in silver service, floral arrangements, table settings, theme parties, and beach set-ups. Managerial and leadership skills, as well as a hospitality background and 3+ years of yachting experience, are preferred. The candidate should be confident, professional, and calm, with good social skills, guest-friendliness, team motivation, and administration skills. The position involves full interior responsibilities, including housekeeping, service, and laundry. The yacht has 10 charters per year, plus trips with the owners, who are described as very nice. The position is offered on a rotational basis, with 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off.
