60m MY looking for rotational 2nd engineer holding Class 2 license. Start date around the 11th of January 2026 for a 2 to 3 day handover with the rotational 2nd engineer. Looking for a candidate with experience on 50m plus yachts. Commercial experience an advantage, ideally having carried out a cadetship. Class 2 CoC/ 2nd engineer unlimited CoC. Candidate will have to have all usual certificates with at least 6 months remaining. B1/b2 visa with at least 1 year remaining. MTU engine experience. Caterpillar generators. Must have AVIT and electrical experience (this is a big part of the job). We have excellent shore support and most issues have been seen before. Must have impeccable references. We are very much guest facing so needs to be confident speaking to principals and guests. There will be an in-depth security and background check carried out. There will be a drug and alcohol test carried out pre issue of any contract. USD contract - 8000 to 8500 USD + Bonus scheme for longevity. Economy flights, travel expenses all covered. Worldwide health cover. 2 months on / 2 months Off. Shared cabin with the 2nd Officer. Crew of 13. Chiefs have been on vessel since delivery, both commercial class 1 chief engineers and we are hands on. Hands on yacht, self-managed and everyone is expected to pull their weight and assist where required. Caribbean / USA until June then home port will be Ft Lauderdale from June to December, Maintenance and owner upgrades carried out during this time. This will be the first year since being delivered that it won’t be a dry dock or heavy maintenance period so downtime will be given as work load allows. No issues regarding budgets and part supplies. Discussion of Europe in 2027 however not confirmed. Yacht was launched late 2023 and vast majority of new yacht issues have been discovered and rectified.
