Sole Engineer

A 45m SY is looking for a rotational engineer to join for the 1st/second week of October. There will be at least a week for familiarization and handover with the other Engineer. They will be in the SOF till mid end November and then crossing to the Caribbean so there will be a good amount of time to get familiar with the yacht. This is a 10: 10 rotation and a private program. We looking ideally for a Y4 or SV EOOW, but a solid guy with AEC 1 and 2 with good experience will be considered. On rotation he will be the only engineer so it is important to know what he is doing. Sailing exp with Yacht Master is a plus, but not essential. Good understanding of electrical and fault finding is essential. Vitters build 43m, MTU 625 so good for sea time, John Deere/Northen lights generators, HEM water maker and Hamann sewage system. Recent PLC upgrade. Private yacht with relatively low usage. Maybe a total of 2 months a year with boss on. Have a couple of end of season contractor works to be overseen.
