Deckhand

Experienced Deckhand required for a high-standard 43m private/charter motor yacht operating to large-vessel standards.

• 1–2+ years’ experience as Deckhand on 40m+ (or large-yacht equivalent), ideally with charter experience or demanding seasons • Proven shipyard experience – sanding, painting prep, masking, product use, contractors, safety • Strong deck product knowledge (varnish systems, teak care, coatings, washdown routines, stain removal, protection products) • Confident with large-yacht deck procedures and professional maintenance standards • Experience with tenders & toys (driving experience preferred but not essential) • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and initiative • Able to hit the ground running — not a training role • Fluent English • STCW and ENG1 up to date • Clean criminal record check if requested • Positive attitude, team-focused, drama-free
