Chief Officer

We are seeking a skilled Chief Officer/1st Mate for a 52m motor yacht based in Italy, with a focus on charter operations and a planned crossing to the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the charter industry, particularly with high-turnover vessels, and will demonstrate proficiency in operating jet drive tenders. Responsibilities include leading the deck team, ensuring compliance with ISM standards, and managing safety protocols. The successful applicant will be a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities, able to maintain a hands-on approach. Candidates must possess all relevant certifications, including CoC, STCW, PDSD, Advanced Fire Fighting, PSCRB, and ENG1, as well as a valid Seaman's Book, Passport, and Cayman Islands endorsement. Power Boat Level 2 and PWC or PWC Instructor qualifications are also required. This is a permanent position with an emphasis on teamwork and exceptional service in the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions.
