Role Overview
An 80m motor yacht currently located in the South of France is seeking an experienced Carpenter for a temporary position with an ASAP start. The successful candidate will complete high-quality interior and exterior carpentry, joinery, repairs and finishing work. Duties may include cabinetry repairs, veneer restoration, fitting and adjusting doors and panels, furniture repairs, timber replacement, sanding, varnishing, colour matching and exterior teak work. All work must be completed neatly and to superyacht standards.

Applicants should have proven professional carpentry or joinery experience, ideally within the superyacht, luxury marine, bespoke furniture or high-end residential sectors. Previous experience aboard large yachts, strong finishing skills and the ability to perform discreet repairs will be highly valued. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while coordinating with the yacht’s crew and other contractors. Immediate availability, the ability to travel to the South of France, relevant work authorization and strong professional references are required. Valid STCW and ENG1 certification will be necessary if the carpenter is expected to sign on as crew.
