A 55m private motor yacht is looking for a Second Engineer to join as soon as possible, ideally by early July with a handover. The yacht is currently in a US yard period until September, with a dual-season private programme and future cruising plans that include the South Pacific. This role suits a hands-on engineer who is comfortable joining during a yard period and working within an active private programme with a strong watersports and fishing lifestyle.

Candidates should have suitable Second Engineer experience on a 50m+ motor yacht, valid STCW certificates and the right engineering qualifications for the role. Immediate to early July availability is important, with the ability to join in Fort Lauderdale for handover and the yard period. The salary range is USD $4,500-$6,000 per month depending on experience, with a 10% yearly bonus. Leave is preferably 42 days, although 60 days may be considered depending on the candidate and market.
