Role Overview
We are looking for a rotational 2nd Engineer to join our 52m private & charter motor yacht for the Mediterranean season. This is a dual season Med/Caribbean programme with a busy but well-run operation and a solid crew onboard. The role involves working closely with the Chief Engineer in the day-to-day running of the engine room and supporting the wider vessel where needed. We are looking for someone reliable, organised, hands-on and capable of getting on with the job without needing constant direction. The yacht runs to high standards during both owner and charter trips, so a good attitude and strong work ethic are important. This is a 2:2 rotational position with salary dependent on experience. Shared cabin onboard. Good opportunity for an engineer looking to join a properly run yacht with a positive crew environment and long-term potential.

Candidates must hold a valid EOOW, Y4, Class 3 or equivalent engineering qualification along with valid STCW, ENG1 and up-to-date seafarer documentation. Previous experience on similar-sized yachts is preferred, although strong candidates from smaller vessels will still be considered. You should be confident with daily engine room operations, maintenance routines and general yacht systems. Fluent English required. Schengen visa or ability to work freely within Europe would be advantageous for the Med season start.
