Role Overview
We are currently looking for a rotational AV/IT Officer to join our 80m private and charter motor yacht. This is not an entry-level role. You need to know your way around onboard AV and IT systems properly and be capable of solving problems. The role covers all onboard AV/IT, guest entertainment, Wi-Fi, satellite communications, networking, televisions, Apple devices, streaming systems, printers and general guest tech support. The owners expect things to work without fuss, so I need somebody calm, practical and reliable. This is a guest-facing role and you must be comfortable around owners and guests, present yourself properly and know when to speak and when to stay quiet. You’ll be joining a good crew onboard with solid longevity throughout the departments. The atmosphere onboard is professional but relaxed and everybody pulls their weight. I am looking for somebody who works well within a team, stays organised and takes pride in their work and appearance. No ETO ticket required, but you do need genuine AV/IT experience and a good understanding of onboard systems. If you are proactive, switched on and can think for yourself, you’ll do well here. The position is rotational, flights paid and single cabin provided.

- STCW Basic Safety Training - Valid ENG1 - Valid passport - Previous AV/IT experience onboard yachts preferred - Good understanding of networking, Wi-Fi systems, VSAT and onboard AV distribution - Experience with Crestron, Cisco, UniFi or similar systems beneficial - Experience supporting guest devices and entertainment systems
