3rd Engineer/ETO
CurrentGained phenomenal experience as I was part of a 18 month refit/shipyard. I was heavily involved in replacement of all AV/IT (Crestron, Starlink, Axis CCTV), mast- and bridge equipment. Overhauled/Rebuild Electrical motors, Jets Vacuum- and Gianneshci pumps and blowers. Installing new Flow Marine Fan Coils and Fresh Air Make Up units. Performed a 15 year Class and Flag State Survey. IDEA implementation and updates of inventory. Conducted a lot of hydraulic maintenance and PLC programming. Service and maintenance on Headhunter Tidal Wave HMX Black Water Treatment system. Service and general maintenance on 3x CAT C9 Generators and 2x CAT 3516B Main Engines. Installed new heat exchangers for ASEA shore power converters. Upgrades and replacement of piping, bellows and plumbing. Setting up for charter and implementing GEST Stew Service Call system and programming UHF radios and earpieces. Writing SOP's for Chief Engineer to finalize. Conducting Engine Room watches and doing all Planned and Breakdown Maintenance to all machinery, Sea-Doo Spark PWC's, Castoldi Jet tender and 55ft Maori Arneson Drive Tender. Daily upkeep of all toys and housekeeping in Engineering Department. During charters, upkeep of all Crestron equipment and assisting guests with AV where needed and also assisting Deck Department with launching all the toys, tender operations and beach setups.
Deck/Engineer
Conducted Planned & Breakdown Maintenance(IDEA). Service and maintenance to Fresh Air Make Up and Fan Coil units. Servicing CAT C9 Generators, tender(Castoldi, Jet Drive) and PWC's. Crane and tender operations. Paint and teak repairs. Conducted a Lloyd's Class approved hull repair. Hydraulic and electrical repairs on Passarelle. Conducted a pre-sale survey and dry doc. This vessel was heavily used for owner/boss trips and I gained a lot of guest interaction experience, assisting interior department being bar tender multiple times and even assisting with service. Moved with Captain and Chief Engineer from M/Y 4 Roses to M/Y SeaLion.
Deckhand
Learned the art of being a deckhand and finding my feet in the industry. Teak scrubbing, polishing, assist Chief Engineer servicing of PWC's. 21 day Boss trip in Key West, launching all toys and conducting beach setups. Snorkeling, tender and PWC operations.
