Career Objective
I am writing to express my keen interest in securing a deckhand position aboard your yacht as I look to advance my career in the yachting industry. Having recently completed my first full season as a deckhand, combined with over two months of daywork and temporary roles, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in deck maintenance, cleaning, mooring operations, tender driving, and guest support services. With a strong foundation of practical skills, I am now eager to build further sea time and broaden my experience as I work toward obtaining my Yachtmaster certification. I am passionate about the maritime industry and fully committed to the challenges and rewards of life at sea. I bring a positive, hard-working attitude, a proactive mindset, and a genuine desire to learn from experienced crew members to consistently improve my skills. My long-term ambition is to progress into leadership roles on deck, with a particular goal of becoming a Bosun. I am seeking a program where I can contribute meaningfully from day one, while steadily developing the expertise and responsibility needed to grow within the team. I am available to commence work from the 1st of November 2025, and I am prepared to relocate and join the vessel wherever required.
