Joined pre-delivery and coordinated with Benetti yard teams, owner’s representatives, and flag/class to drive commissioning, sea trials, and acceptance. Built CMMS-based planned maintenance schedules, spares and critical inventory; established technical logs, checklists, and safety procedures. Led warranty punch-list and vendor coordination, resolving defects and minimizing downtime during the first Mediterranean season (Italy–France–Spain). Completed required surveys/audits on schedule, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and flag/class standards.

New build Sole Engineer collaborating with shipyard teams and surveyors to commission systems and verify compliance. Designed and implemented vessel-specific planned maintenance schedules and technical documentation. Post-delivery shakedown and cruise from Turkey to Croatia via the Sea of Marmara, Aegean/Adriatic, and the Corinth Canal.

Served as Sole Engineer during a shipyard period on S/Y Thalia, supporting a comprehensive overhaul and return to service. Rotated between Thalia and Corinthian per the owner’s program throughout the Mediterranean season. Completed an Atlantic crossing on Thalia and cruised the Leeward Islands (Grenada–Antigua), successfully closing the Caribbean season. Managed maintenance, defect resolution, and watchkeeping to ensure safe operations and minimal downtime.
