Career Objective
I am seeking a permanent position as a Second Officer or Chief Officer on a 60m+ motor yacht to further develop my knowledge and gain sea time.

Second Officer
CurrentResponsible for passage planning, checking, testing and coordinating maintenance of LSA, FFE & GMDSS, updating navigation equipment, publications and logbooks, crew & guest familiarisations, running and assisting with drills, managing the deck team, HLO duties, ISM / SMS management, preparing for audits and assisting the C/O and Captain with what was required.
Chief Officer
Responsible for all LSA and FFE weekly and monthly checks. Navigation officer, responsible for passage planning, navigation equipment, GMDSS equipment, pre departure/arrival checks. Monitored and kept official logbook, GMDSS logbook and garbage record book up to date. Inducted all new crew members and ran all drills onboard including fire, abandon ship, MOB, emergency steering, enclosed space entry and security drills.
Mate
Temporary contract as mate, cruising around the North Island in New Zealand with guests onboard the whole time. Completed navigation watches as OOW and anchor watches. In charge of the overall care of the exterior. Guest tender driver and heavy guest interaction.
