I am originally from Arizona, but my family moved to New Zealand at a young age where I developed an interest in boating around Auckland's Hauraki Gulf. After spending 6 years as a boatbuilder, I transitioned into yachting, attracted by the travel and dynamic nature of the industry. I strive to maintain a high standard in my work while fostering a friendly and professional environment.

Experience
Chief Officer
Handling of the ship under supervision, in intercoastal and offshore waters. Maneuvering vessel on and off the dock, Port/STB side to and Stern to Med Docking. Safety Officer on board - Responsible for monthly safety checks, running emergency drill and crew training. Extensive handover with previous First Officer covering all aspects of the ships operations. Watchkeeping and passage plans. Managing daily watch schedule for crew and overseeing watchkeeper duties. Running deck team during mooring and anchoring operations.
Captain
Captain through five month warranty refit. Viareggio, Azimut. Captain through busy seven month season in the Med with busy owner and charter trips. Eight crew and a full social calendar. Full yacht management, including accounting, insurance and maintenance. ISM management. Extensive helm time / Passage planning and execution.
First Officer
Two back to back seasons as First Officer in NZ and the Mediterranean.
