I am seeking a Captain position. I feel that experience and qualifications are important for a Captain but I also think that a good measure of humility and good manners is needed in or to be successful. Above all, to stay at the top of your game it’s important to recognise that there is always something new to learn. This is the essence of life and shows an open mind. I began my career in the merchant navy, starting as a student/cadet climbing all grades needed until my first official delegation to the command.
