I am seeking a long-term Deck position on board a busy 40M+ charter/private yacht where I can utilize my recent deck experience and yacht skill sets with boat equipment, tender operation, and customer service to build a successful career in the yacht industry.

Career Objective
My objective is to secure a long term job as a deckhand on a vessel 40m+. I am looking for longevity and to add to a strong foundation for my career in the yachting industry. My current goal in mind is to gain more experience and knowledge to work my way to a Bosun position, my long term goal is to complete my OOWs and work my way to a Chief Officer position.

Experience
Deckhand
Participated in all deck department duties and tasks including washdowns, stainless and exterior detailing, two-part deck teak, equipment maintenance and care, crane operations, PWC operations, and assisting with guests needs and activities. Assisted with putting tender on tow, and cleaning and maintaining. Assisting wherever needed with docking procedures & maneuvers, operating lines and fenders and communicating with the Chief Officer. Performed lookout watches underway and night watches during charters. Charters completed includes, 2 boss trips, and 3 guest charters over 3 months. Sang and played guitar for guests during a boss trip. Helped look after guests and anticipate their needs on deck, shore, and during activities, such as taking guests fishing, teaching guests how to safely use a PWC. Set up and packed away supplies, tables, chairs, and food for beach BBQ events.
Exterior Daywork
Oxi teak scrubbing. Tender/ PWC operations. Line handling. Yacht/ Tender wash down and detailing. Yacht/Tender stainless-steel polishing.
Exterior Daywork
Full exterior two-part teak. Tender operations. Wash down and yacht/tender detail. Stainless steel polishing. Washing the hull from the rescue tender.
