Safety officer/Navigational officer. Duties include ISM/SMS compliance and management, passage planning, navigational updates, publication updates/orders, G.M.D.S.S. checks & maintenance, bridge equipment maintenance, preparing & executing all safety drills onboard, responsible for all planned maintenance, filing & maintaining all ships certificates and documents.
3rd Officer/Relief 2nd Officer
Holding bridge navigational watches, including ice navigational watches. Managing inventory, ordering deck/sailing supplies, deck caulking repairs, garbage operation & disposal, managing deck team, delegating deck duties, watch/shift schedules, L.S.A & F.F.E checks.
