With over 24 years as a professional seafarer, including 10 as a large yacht captain on private and charter vessels. I have acquired extensive boat handling skills through navigation on luxury yachts. My broad knowledge of cruising destinations enables me to create unique itineraries based on guest preferences. I am comfortable liaising effectively with owners, guests and management companies at all levels and I’m familiar with all aspects of administration including chartering, accounting, ISM/ISPS, MLC and MCA regulations and procedures. I have solid yacht project management experience, major refit and new build projects and enjoy building strong relationships with all parties involved. As the grandson of a sailing boat captain, I was born with a passion for cruising and am dedicated to inspiring, motivating and leading a hardworking and reliable team. I pride myself on approaching my responsibilities with a positive, professional attitude and I am committed to running a smooth and efficient vessel that provides our owners and guests the best possible cruising experience

Career Objective
I am looking for permanent or ideally for rotation. I would like to embark on a ship preferably recognized "ICE class", between 35-60 m for scientific or discovery missions. Under construction or refit, already in operation or in a shipyard is an integral part of my skills to bring all my experience and competence to your adventure.
