I view myself as a humble, hardworking, and determined individual. With extensive hands-on experience working on luxury sailing catamarans in Barbados, totaling over 8,000 hours of sea time. I have over 4 years of experience working on various day charter Catamarans and Luxury charter catamarans, and have developed exceptional skills in problem solving, sail handling, maintenance, and guest services. My experience includes serving on a luxury catamaran refurbishment team and participating in offshore passages from Grenada-Barbados, standing watches and assisting with navigation. My best qualities include attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Having worked on luxury boats for some time, I have developed a commitment to upholding high standards of service while ensuring guests' safety at all times. My goal is to continue learning and growing in my role as a Deckhand and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences for guests, and build a long-term career within the yachting industry.

CurrentDuring my time working on luxury sailing catamarans, I have gained a wide range of practical maritime skills, including mastering essential knots, developing a solid understanding of electronics on the vessel, along with learning to read tides and winds accurately, as well as operating small craft vessels, and overall care and maintenance for the yachts. I have also built strong safety awareness, confidently supervising guests both in and out of the water. Additionally, I have led numerous snorkeling and water expeditions, ensuring guests had safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences while exploring the marine environment.

I cultivated a strong maritime background from a young age, having grownup on an island where daily life was closely connected to the sea. This upbringing provided extensive early exposure to marine environments and established a solid foundation in seamanship, vessel operations, and life at sea. Over time, I have continued to develop and refine my skills through hands-on experience across a range of deck operations and maintenance. As a member of the deck crew, I was responsible for securing and preparing the vessel, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation, sail handling, anchoring operations, and supporting safe navigation. I took pride in delivering a high level of service to guests, contributing to a safe, efficient, and memorable experience on the water.
