About

I’m a hardworking and passionate mariner who has grown up on the water, racing sailboats since age five and operating motorboats since seven. My experience as a Sailing Coach and Head Instructor has taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and staying calm under pressure. I’ve gained strong skills in teaching, vessel handling, and tender operations, including maintenance and launching from trailers, davits, and cranes. My goal is to continue gaining sea time and experience as I work toward becoming a licensed vessel captain and building a lifelong career on the water.

Hobbies & Interests

I love spending time on the water, whether I’m boating, kneeboarding, tubing, or kayaking down rivers, in lakes, or out in the bay. I also enjoy sailing—both racing my Laser and racing or cruising on my family’s Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440. When I’m not on the water, I like being outdoors mountain biking or four-wheeling with friends. I’m also a big fan of board and card games for a fun way to unwind.

Experience

Sailing coach/Head sailing Instructor

Apr 2019 - Jul 2025
Pensacola Yacht Club

As Sailing Coach, I was responsible for planning and leading our race team, organizing practice schedules, coordinating with parents, and selecting regattas. I designed practice plans and skill-building drills, providing constructive feedback to help sailors improve while maintaining a positive and safe environment on the water. As Head Instructor, I managed the Summer Sailing Camp for children, teens, and adults, overseeing daily operations and a team of instructors. I taught sailing fundamentals both on land and on the water, ensuring smooth instruction, safety, and enjoyment for all participants while supervising from the RIB and monitoring conditions.
