About
Captain Ken has been active on the water since he was 9 years old, starting out with an Optimist and a 6ft Zodiac. After going through the extensive Dutch sailing education program, he became a junior instructor at an early age. Year to date, he trained over 300 kids, teenagers and adults on sailing, crewing and skippering. He himself captained his first bareboat charter in Greece in 1988 at age 18 and since then he has sailed (with crew & solo) all over the world, including running charters in the USA and Caribbean on both sail and power yachts. Safely navigated: Caribbean (BVI, St. Martin, Anguilla, Saba, St Kitts, Nevis, Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Venezuela), Bahamas, Florida East/West Coast, The Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific, Aegean Sea, USA ICW (the Loop), Irish Sea, North Sea, Lake IJssel, Dutch rivers & inner lakes.
