Born and raised in the Mexican Caribbean, my childhood was shaped by ocean exploration, boats, and marine life. Since I was 10 years old, i was as good in the water as in land, and as soon as I had the opportunity, I began to forge my career in the diving industry and tourism industry, with over 15 years of experience in the tourism and diving industry, and at least 10 years of active work. I have been part of a family of divers and have developed in various areas of the sector, including dive instruction, boat operations, diveshop operations,sales, marketing and customer service. My career has also been forged through experiences in multiple destinations around the world. I have had the opportunity to explore various dive centers, explore different marine ecosystems, and immerse myself in the global tourism industry. Additionally, I constantly travel to international diving fairs to promote our company. These events have allowed me to establish strategic partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and potential clients, enhancing my experience in the commercial and marketing aspects of the diving industry.

Career Objective
My main goal for the next five years is to continue working in the maritime industry, gaining as much experience as possible from international companies and diverse crews while developing my own skills and discipline at sea. At this stage of my life, I am especially focused on traveling and expanding my horizons, meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and experiencing new countries that contribute to both my professional and personal growth. By the time I reach the age of 32, I intend to return to my hometown, Playa del Carmen, to take over and expand my family’s businesses: a dive shop and a hotel. With the knowledge, perspective, and professional growth acquired overseas, I aim to continue their legacy while introducing new ideas and practices that strengthen our presence in the tourism and diving industry.

CurrentI have a solid background in the maritime field. I spent over 10 months living aboard the Sørlandet full-rigged ship, sailing to more than 24 countries while taking part in vessel maintenance, navigation maneuvers, safety watch duties, sail handling, and crew training under demanding conditions. In the diving industry, I bring over 10 years of experience, including bull shark feeding following strict safety protocols, as well as teaching recreational diving at various levels, always with a strong focus on marine conservation. Earlier this year, I worked in Vancouver for over two months on the maintenance and cleaning of different yachts, carrying out technical and support tasks on board, which strengthened my knowledge of private yacht operations.
