Responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles and passengers on a three-lane car deck, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, proper weight distribution, and segregation of dangerous goods. Led the team in lashing trucks and securing cargo during heavy weather conditions to ensure safety and stability. Manage crew during daily operations, maintaining high standards of safety and operational readiness. Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and requisition of Life-Saving Appliances (LSA), Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA), lashing equipment, and other deck equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance. Responsible for managing the Deckhand and Barista working on board, enforcing safety protocols, and optimizing their performance. Carried out bunkering and the taking of fresh water with the support of the Deckhand, ensuring all procedures were followed safely and efficiently.
