About

I’m a Second Engineer holding an STCW III/2 Unlimited license with over 15 years of hands-on maritime experience across vessels ranging from 60m offshore ships to 330m cruise liners. I’ve worked in both private and commercial sectors, including new builds, shipyards, transatlantic crossings, and guest operations. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently been trusted with high-responsibility assignments—personally selected by operators for new builds, maiden voyages, sea trials, and shipyard supervision. These roles reflect not only my technical ability but also my reliability, composure under pressure, and strong communication with senior teams. I bring a calm, methodical approach to engineering, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, safety, and operational precision. I’m confident managing complex systems (power generation, HVAC, hydraulics, AV/IT) and supporting seamless day-to-day operations. I integrate quickly with crew, maintain high standards, and take pride in running an engine room that reflects the professionalism of the vessel. I hold a valid B1/B2 visa, am based in Europe, and I'm open to both rotational and relief roles worldwide. Whether supporting a busy charter program or keeping a vessel in top condition for sale or delivery, I’m ready to contribute from day one.

Career Objective

My goal is to grow into a Chief Engineer role where I can combine hands-on leadership with forward-thinking engineering practices. Alongside deep operational experience, I’m developing AI-based tools designed to support marine engineers with faster decision-making, step-by-step technical guidance, and structured access to onboard knowledge. I believe this technology can enhance both safety and efficiency, especially on yachts with lean engineering teams. I’m happy to offer and implement this system—free of charge—onboard any vessel I join, in a way that is fully approved, discreet, and genuinely beneficial to the crew and operation. My objective is not only to manage machinery but to lead engineering departments into the future—with systems that are clean, compliant, and increasingly intelligent.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside the Engine Room Outside of work, I stay active and engaged through activities that challenge both body and mind. I enjoy kitesurfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and surfing — not just for the adrenaline, but for the focus, planning, and adaptability they demand. These sports keep me physically fit, mentally sharp, and grounded in teamwork and awareness — all qualities that translate directly to life onboard. I’m also drawn to hiking, exploring new environments, and spending time outdoors in a way that recharges me for the next challenge. Whether it’s a remote anchorage or a mountain trail, I value experiences that deepen my connection to the world and help me return to work clear-headed and motivated. When off the water, I enjoy hands-on projects, from practical repairs to building things from scratch. They help keep my problem-solving instincts sharp, and I find satisfaction in bringing order and function to any system I work with. I have a genuine interest in AI tools, modern engineering technologies, and how innovation can improve performance, decision-making, and knowledge-sharing onboard. I actively follow health and longevity research, aiming to stay in peak condition not just for now, but for the long term. Most of all, I value being part of a tight-knit crew — sharing experiences, staying curious, and growing through collaboration. For me, hobbies and interests are more than a pastime — they’re part of how I stay sharp, adaptable, and fully prepared to contribute wherever I’m needed.
