Pacific season (Hawaiian Islands) then crossing from Hawaii to Fiji, around 3,000 NM, bridge watches and navigation of vessel, freedom to become comfortable with big boat maneuvers, systems and protocol, anchoring, called distances for captain, developed deeper understanding of basic engineering work and troubleshooting (replacing transducers, water makers, chillers, load shedding, etc), shipyard period, active scuba diving and snorkeling.
