I’m currently a one seasoned experienced deckhand actively searching for a rotational or permanent position where I can contribute both my growing deck experience and strong hospitality background to assist with guest service and overall operations. With over 10 years in hospitality, I bring a calm, drama-free approach, a positive attitude, and a solid, resilient work ethic. My experience has equipped me with many valuable transferable skills including time management, guest relations, clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to remain consistent under pressure. I take pride in being dependable, professional, and eager to learn from experienced crew members whilst working towards my Yachtmaster, OOW, AEC1&2 & other relevant courses leading me to captain in the coming years.

Performed anchoring operations & Buoy mooring Participated in anchor and buoy watch rotations with two other crew, monitoring position, swing radius and vessel safety. Completed helm watch rotations while underway Completed piloting the vessel and taking us into Poltu Quatu port and beginning the berthing process before assisting with the stern lines. Assisted with tender operations for crew and guests using a jet RIB. Applied tender driving and guest transfer procedures. Polished stainless, completed rust treatment, windows and teak decking (2 stage). Managed fender deployment and placement, including use of roaming fenders. Events & Duty Manager
Managed day to day operations & events of the business. Served up to 250 people per day, whether that being on the floor, bar or coffee machine. Trained existing and new team members. Opened a brand new venue, transitioning from cafe to restaurant, holding 170 guests. Managed the security of the building, opening and closing.
