I am an enthusiastic, hardworking Engineer with enormous passion for the industry. I have worked on a wide variety of yachts, commercial vessels and navy ships in dry dock and at sea over the last 12 years. I have recently got my SV Chief Engineer 9000kw, 3000gt Y1 ticket. (I am waiting for the physical CoC to arrive from the MCA)

Career Objective
I am looking for my next long-term opportunity as a rotational Chief Engineer on a yacht over 50m where I can utilise and continue to develop my skills. My aim is to provide outstanding service to the owner and/or guests.

I have done various types of film and photography work for different people, companies and organizations including: Yachts, Auckland City Council, International Touch Tournament in Fiji, Corporate event in Vanuatu, Weddings, Festivals and Events etc.
Experience
Chief Engineer (TEMP)
- Completed the last month of the 15 year special survey with Flag and Class - Oversaw the entire commissioning phase after 10 months out the water. - Busy Mediterranean charter season
2nd Engineer
- Sailed the boat over 10,000 nautical miles from Tahiti to Barcelona in 8 weeks - Break down and planned maintenance on all systems. - Preparations for intermediate survey. - PLC trouble shooting and maintenance
2nd Engineer
- Primarily in charge of all AV/IT systems including: Cisco, Crestron, Kerio, Satellite TV and VSAT. - 10-year survey along with other shipyard periods. - Keeping IDEA up to date which includes all planned maintenance on all systems including: Caterpillar C9 generators, MTU main engines, HEM water makers, Heinen Hopman air conditioning systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic power systems, Cranes, Tenders and Wave runners, Fixed firefighting systems etc.
