Managed all deck operations during docking, undocking and anchoring, ensuring safe line handling procedures and effective communication between bridge and deck. Supervised external contractors during shipyard and at-anchor works, including painting, polishing, varnishing and full teak recaulking projects. Led preparations for ISM audits, Flag-state surveys and Class inspections, ensuring full compliance across safety, documentation and operational procedures. Actively involved in guest operations during charters, including watersports management, tender driving, guest entertainment and ensuring high-level service standards. Oversaw all aspects of exterior presentation, deck organization, inventory control and ongoing maintenance to maintain a high-quality standard. Delivered safety drills, onboard training programs, risk assessments and crew familiarization as per ISM and company safety management requirements. Assisted the Captain with SSO responsibilities, including security drills, access control, crew briefing and ship security plan implementation.
