Experience
Chief Engineer
Responsible for overseeing extensive warranty work on a newly built yacht, ensuring technical issues were identified and resolved to the highest standard. Continued development of Planned Maintenance System (PMS), developed operational procedures, and conducted significant fault-finding and troubleshooting across multiple onboard systems. Provided hands-on training and mentorship to a second engineer new to the industry.
2nd Engineer
Oversaw an exhaustive 18-month refit, which included a comprehensive overhaul of all major equipment, Main generators, cooling systems, hydraulic systems, installing battery and shore power systems and a conversion from deep sea construction to private research-oriented capabilities.
2nd/3rd Engineer
Maintained high standards set by our private philanthropic owners, including upkeep of the original main engines and integration of new MTU/MAN generators. Promoted to 2nd Engineer after 2.5 years of dedicated service.
