Responsible for charts, publications, inspections, and maintenance. Updating and purchasing electronic charts. GMDSS Officer. Deputy SSO - Assisting with ship security operations. Deputy Safety Officer - Conducting and compiling ISM safety meetings monthly for the crew and management company. LSA/FFE - Overseeing lifesaving appliances and firefighting equipment for the PMS. Safety & Training - Conducting safety familiarisation, drills, and crew training. HLO - Regular heli-ops onboard. Main Tender Driver - Responsible for guest transfers and training deck crew. Guest Operations - Managing guest activities, particularly night operations. Guest Activities - Organising large-scale beach setups and watersports. Deck Crew Management - Assigning daily work duties, training, motivating, and evaluating the team.

Involved on deck and spent 90% of my time working closely with the Bosun and deck crew. Kept my own navigational watch and became responsible for the LSA and FFE checks and maintenance. Competent tender driver, both jet and twin prop. Dual season Med and Caribbean yacht with busy live onboard owners. Charter style beach set ups and water toy activities. Heli-ops is a common procedure onboard in which I am the HLO.

Last ship as a cadet where I was given a lot of responsibility while understudying the officer's role. Prepared the vessel for passengers after covid restrictions and cruised every week around Greece with passengers on board. Allowed to manoeuvre the vessel into anchorages. Responsible for mooring and anchoring teams while assisting the officers in the maintenance and training of LSA and FFA on board.
