I have 6 years' experience on motor yachts, sailing yachts and support vessels ranging from 35m-145m. I was trained with an extremely high level of service and work ethic, and I strive for this on every boat that I work on. I am also passionate about new build and refit projects as I have a good eye for detail and design, and a keen interest in materials and maintenance methods. I have a perfectionist and a positive mindset, and an enduring attitude. I enjoy problem-solving and finding practical solutions whilst communicating clearly and effectively, striving for a positive atmosphere. I am well-presented, well-spoken and I thoroughly enjoy serving UHNW guests with a positive and polite demeanour. . Prior to my yachting career, I worked in top restaurants (6+ years) and art galleries in Cape Town, and boutique sporting events across South Africa, learning the intricacies of high-end service, FOH management and events-organising. I am a passionate sailor and I grew up in a coastal town in South Africa where sailing and water sports were an integral part of my lifestyle. In my freetime I enjoy hiking, rock-climbing, open-water swimming and film photography.

Career Objective
I am currently seeking my next leadership role as either a Chief Stewardess or a Second or Lead service stew on a larger vessel. I am looking for a challenge and step-up where I can apply my skills and challenge myself on a service and leadership level. I am eager to join an interior team with a supportive dynamic and positive, uplifting team spirit. I'd ideally like a travelling and/or busy programme where I can become a valued crew member longterm.
