I am a versatile engineer having completed a four year NZ engineering apprenticeship. Engineering is my true passion and I want to commit to a yacht and work towards my S/V 2nd engineer qualification. I am hardworking, fast learning and fit into any team environment. I'm active, enjoy exercising and being in the outdoors.

2nd Engineer
CurrentYard period - General planned maintenance, over haul of windlasses, servicing the magnetically coupled pneumatic door, servicing caterpillar main engine/ JD generators, watermakers, A/C system, treat fresh water system, interior finish work. Atlantic crossing - Navigational/ engine room watches. Charter - Assist chief engineer, look after the tender - fuelling, daily checks and help on deck.
Temp Engineer

Boss trips, tender driving guests/lifting tender, wash downs, rig cleaning, teak maintenance, and watch keeping. Engine room work, rebuilding water maker and sludge pumps, fuel & water filter changes, changing hydraulic lines, engine room checks underway, fixing anchor arm, testing bilge alarms and pumps, fixing the passerelle. Yard period, prepping for painting, removing deck fittings, helping with maintenance items in engine room.
