Deckhand
Current• Prepared and maintained teak decks and furniture using Step 1/Step 2 cleaning, sanding, and fairing techniques. • Managed general deck maintenance, including sanding, fairing, cleaning, washdowns, and upkeep of deck hardware, bolts, and fittings. • Independently carried out varnishing of the flagpole using Epifanes PP coatings and gloss varnish, including creating a varnish tent and managing all materials. • Responsible for watchkeeping multiple times per week, including during passages (e.g., La Ciotat to Sète). • Assisted with mooring operations in port and guest transfers on board. • Took sole responsibility for sourcing, ordering, and managing finishing products for personal projects based on prior experience and technical knowledge.
Marine restoration and Maintenance
