About
I began my career in the yachting industry in 2012, joining my first yacht and gradually gaining experience on both private and charter vessels ranging from 50 to 100 meters. Over the years, I worked across all areas of the interior department and progressed into leadership roles, eventually becoming Chief Stewardess and Head of Service until 2020. After taking a break from the industry due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and being there for my family during my mother's battle with cancer (which we sadly lost in late 2021), I worked as an office administrator and P.A. for company in Cape Town while supporting my family's transition. Now, I am eagerly re-entering the superyacht industry, and most recently, I held the position of Head of Service on a 100-meter private yacht.

Career Objective
My aim is to join a professional private or charter vessel where the overall values of the operation align with mine. I am seeking an environment that upholds high standards, fosters a motivated and dedicated crew, and promotes competent and supportive leadership. It is important to me to create a team that values their role, where there is opportunity for ongoing training, and that responds well to clear communication and defined objectives. I believe these elements are vital in creating a successful, harmonious, and professional work environment. I am looking to commit long term and am eager to continue on my career trajectory.

Hobbies & Interests
Sports -Tennis and Pilates. I also very much like to go walk outdoors whether on the beach or in the forest, anywhere green but preferable as close to nature as possible. I may even be partial to a bit of bird watching.. Plants - I keep numerous plants and am constantly propagating and gifting plants. I love the challenge of figuring out how each plant needs to be cared. And so naturally, I love flowers and flower arranging. I love animals and help foster when I have the time. Its a good option when you have a job that requires you to be away for long periods of time. I love traveling and exploring different places, especially the destinations that I find myself in because of work. And more recently, have loved exploring the natural work around Southern Africa. I also love learning about people and our differences and similarities. Psychology and culture have always interested me and its been fascinating to get to work with people from various origins.
