Restocking deck products as well as hiring of new crew. Leading naviga5onal watches during the season and full management of the two deckhands. Full guest set up and guest ac5vi5es, watersports set up and beach set ups as well. Large tender driving daily
First Mate/Chase boat Captain
Duties included all safety measures onboard, drills and equipment inspections. Passage planning and navigation watches. Hiring of Deck crew and assisting during disciplinary meetings. Watch schedules and all deck inventory. Deck maintenance for main vessel and chase boat. Full responsibility for the chase boat. Guests’ activities on the chase boat and watersports. Full responsibility for deck maintenance on the main vessel, training of Deckhand and deck engineer. Winter work assisting the engineer with all work-list, projects and scheduled maintenance. Sole watch keeper of the vessel over the winter periods.
Temporary bosun
Preseason deck work, wash-downs, polishing stainless, teak scrubbing. Navigational watch, guest drop offs in the tender. Anchor and nights watches when guests onboard. Passage planning with the chief officer and chart corrections.
