I am a 25-year-old Italian sailor from Lake Garda, seeking a Deckhand position — preferably aboard a sailing yacht. Motivated and willing to work hard, I aim to grow and build a solid career in the yachting industry. I have a strong sailing background, having competed from a young age in dinghy classes—especially the 29er—and I currently race regularly on keelboats in regattas around Lake Garda. Recently, I completed an Atlantic crossing from Saint Martin to the Azores aboard Kialoa III (Sparkman & Stephens, 79 ft S/Y), covering over 2,500 nautical miles. I also sailed on the classic yacht Galiana (Sparkman & Stephens, 55 ft S/Y) with Tapio Lehtinen from Portsmouth to Falmouth. For the past six years, I have also been working as a sailing instructor, teaching both children (ages 6–12) and adults, on dinghies and keelboats alike. This experience has strengthened my hands-on attitude, patience, and ability to remain calm under pressure. In addition to my sailing experience, I hold a Master’s degree in Private Law from Sorbonne University. I have also studied in Luxembourg, England, and Australia, which allowed me to develop strong communication skills and an excellent command of English and French. I am currently based on Garda lake and available immediately. I bring a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for life at sea.

Hobbies & Interests
Sailing is my main passion. I try to spend as much time on the water as possible, either competing in regattas or simply enjoying the sea. One of my most memorable experiences was sailing aboard the legendary Kialoa III, which was an honour to be part of. I love surfing and all kinds of water sports, including windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling. I have surfed in Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Portugal, France, and Morocco — always seeking new spots and conditions to challenge myself. I enjoy scuba diving and hold a PADI certification. I have dived in Malaysia, Portugal, and the Caribbean, each experience giving me the chance to discover the ocean’s diversity up close. Outside of the water, I enjoy skiing and have spent many seasons on the Italian and Austrian Alps.

CurrentInstructed children and teenagers on Optimist, Laser Bahia, and RS Quest dinghies, and adults on Protagonist 750 keelboats, teaching sailing fundamentals, boat handling, and safety; also coached pre-competitive Optimist teams, nurturing confidence and team spirit. Developed strong tender-handling skills, including docking, maneuvering, approaching, and mooring alongside other vessels. Basic knowledge of boat and equipment maintenance.
