Experience
Sole Engineer
CurrentJoined to assist as engineer on an Atlantic crossing, contract was then extended to continue onwards as sole engineer in the yard period once vessel arrived in Palma de Mallorca. Duties included: Performing both engine room and bridge watch, both under engine and sail. Sole responsibility for engineering department once in the yard, managing and organizing contractors and engine room projects. Equipment onboard: CAT main engines, Northern lights generators.
2nd Engineer
Served as 2nd engineer onboard M/Y Driftwood a 55m Amels until the sale of the vessel in August 2024. Duties included: planned and reactive maintenance as well as daily operation of the vessel answering directly to the chief engineer. During my time onboard the vessel underwent class surveys, drydocking, refit periods and extensive travelling of remote areas throughout the Pacific Ocean. Equipment onboard: MTU 2000 series main engines, Northern lights main and emergency generators
