Served as Third Engineer aboard the Ferry Volcán de Tinamar operated by Naviera Armas, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s propulsion plant, power generation systems and auxiliary machinery. Responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, machinery rounds, troubleshooting and monitoring of critical engineering systems to ensure reliable service during frequent passenger and vehicle crossings. Worked closely with the engineering team to maintain high safety standards, operational efficiency and compliance with company procedures in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Sole Engineer
Served as Sole Engineer aboard the S/Y Reva Nui during a delivery voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Malta, holding full responsibility for the vessel’s engineering systems, including propulsion, generators, electrical, plumbing and auxiliary equipment. Ensured the safe and reliable operation of the vessel through preventive maintenance, daily inspections and troubleshooting, delivering a smooth and efficient passage. In addition to engineering duties, actively assisted the deck team with sail handling, deck operations and general seamanship tasks, demonstrating versatility, teamwork and a hands-on approach throughout the voyage.
