Initially joined as 3rd Officer. In 4 months got promoted to 2nd Officer. Voluntary compliant yacht with full ISM, sound experience in IDEA Planned Maintenance software. Keeping all NAVIGATION systems up to date as well as digital and paper publications, charts, and keeping all relevant log updated. Assisting Chief Officer in drill planning and execution enhancing crew and guests safety. Conducting day-to-day maintenance of the exterior of the yacht which included wash downs, teak scrubbing, oiling outside furniture, painting, polishing, and applying ceramic coatings.

Chief Mate onboard 9 crew/12 guest vessel that executed back-to-back seasons with commercial charters and Owners trips, including fishing and diving trips that were up to 2 weeks in duration. Completed 3-week trip in Antarctica as well as multiple crossings, including 20 days crossing to French Polynesia where over a year was spent cruising around all islands. Oversaw team of 2 Deckhands and trained green Deckhands on all vessel procedures and standards. Responsible for chart and publications corrections and reported directly to Captain. Ensured all daily tasks were completed efficiently and according to all safety protocols. Handled maneuvering in and out of ports and calling distances. Participated in shipyard periods, including 2-month period in 2018 and subsequent yard period where 10-year survey was completed.

Joined vessel during refit period and assisted Captain with supervision of subcontractors. Oversaw full refit of both Yanmar engines, upgrades to all Raymarine navigational equipment, and replacement of all lighting to LED models. Assisted with all maintenance tasks including polishing, waxing, teak cleaning, as well as weekly wash downs.
